had a flag and went over and pulled up a 24 inch pickeral about 4 lbs. I took a picture of it, broke off the line so I could get it back in the water quick. Five minutes later the flag goes off again. It s another big pickeral. I said I think this one is bigger. I try to get the hook out and see it is really deep but notice my previous hook in the fishes mouth...it s the same pickeral! twenty minutes later another flag about 20 yards away. I pull in another large pickeral. I look in it s mouth and see the leader from my last hookup. It s the same pickeral. We drive about 100 yds away, and set up. My buddy puts one right next to his van and we hear the flag hit the van as it goes off. He pulls it up and says it feels like weeds because it isn t fighting. When it gets to the hole...it s the same pickeral. He was so TIRED he didn t fight. We shoved a couple dead shiners down his throat becasue he was obviously hungry and set him free. one 4 lb pickeral caught four times in one day...that equals 16 lbs!
